Dr. Jeffrey Gunter, M.D. is a board certified dermatologist and dermatologic Surgeon with clinics throughout Southern California and Nevada. He earned his undergraduate A.B. degree from the University of California at Berkeley where he majored in Psychology. He studied medicine at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California (USC), Where he was recognized with honors for his clinical work. Dr. Gunter stayed at USC where he completed his residency in Dermatology and was selected as the Chief Resident of the Dermatology residency program. He continued to stay on as a clinical professor in the Division of Dermatology at the LAC/USC Medical Center where he taught residents in Dermatology and lectured medical students and other physicians on topics in Dermatology.
After his years at USC, Dr. Gunter turned his passion to private practice when he co-founded a 22-office Dermatology practice in four of the Western United States. Dr. Gunter’s goal was to offer his expertise to as many patients as possible. His practice has performed more than 20,000 chemical peels, thousands of laser procedures, hundreds of Botox treatments, and his expertise is sought out by many patients eager to benefit from his profound understanding and skills in Dermatology.
Dr. Gunter has long believed in the importance of getting visible results in a simple non-invasive manner. This led to his collaboration with the Youthology Research Institute, where together they developed Youthology 90 Second Eye Serum, a cosmetic application mimicking the action of a facelift for the eyes without needles or expensive, painful surgery.
Dr. Gunter has published and co-authored multiple articles in various areas if Dermatology. He has been quoted in magazine articles about skin health and has been a requested speaker at scientific Dermatology meetings and conferences.
Dr. Gunter is a diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and a Fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery.
